AAA Omega Replica Watches Introduces the 18”’CHRO Wrist-Chronograph

To mark the debut of the very first wristwatch chronograph ever, AAA Omega Replica Watch has rolled out its most unusual and impressive timepiece in recent memory. Named the First Omega Wrist-Chronograph, the watch is actually a modern remake of a vintage watch – but one actually powered by a vintage movement, an 18”’CHRO that’s been artfully and artisanally refinished.

Constructed to modern norms for rigidity and water-resistance, the case is 47.5mm, just like its vintage inspiration, but in 18k white gold, with the crown and mono-pusher in 18k Sedna red gold. While the diameter is the same as the 1913 original, Omega Wrist-Chronograph the case is noticeably thicker, largely due to the sapphire crystals and substantial, hinged case back.

Glossy and white, the dial is made of grand feu, or vitreous enamel, with black enamel markings applied via pad printing. Both Omega Replica Watches chronograph registers are recessed and made of separate discs of fired enamel that are each secured to the main dial from below. And the hands are blued steel, Breguet-style, though the central chronograph seconds hand is red gold.

The 18”’CHRO Swiss Omega Watches remake wears as large as a 47.5mm watch does, and it is also weighty. That makes it an impractical watch, but any impracticality is quickly forgotten when the remarkable quality and attention to detail, inside and out, is revealed.

The Omega Replica Seamaster Aqua Terra Worldtimer in Platinum

Omega tends to create small runs of pricey, platinum watches to mark the launch of a new model, so the debut of the Omega Replica Seamaster Aqua Terra Worldtimer indicates there’s a world time watch in the pipeline.

The plainer versions of the Aqua Terra Worldtimer have yet to be revealed, so for now the Omega Replica Watches Seamaster Aqua Terra Worldtimer Master Chronometer in platinum stands alone, in a limited edition of 87 pieces. Most of what’s visible is precious metal. The 43mm case is solid platinum, as is the frosted dial that’s decorated with a world map in vitreous enamel. Similarly, the hands and hour markers are 18k yellow gold.

The watch functions with a fixed cities disc and rotating 24-hour home time wheel; the enamelled globe is decorative and static. For seasonal time changes, the cities on the world time disc are colour coded: black indicates places that utilise summer time, and blue for locations without summer time. And while Paris or Geneva is typically used to represent the time zone of GMT +1, here it has been replaced with Bienne, the Swiss city that’s home to Omega Replica.

The world timer is equipped with the cal. 8939, a Master Chronometer-certified movement that, thanks to patented alloys, boasts magnetism resistance to over 15,000 Gauss, an industry record. It’s also tested for accuracy and functionality by METAS, the Swiss federal meteorological and measures institute. And because the Replica Omega watch has a precious metal case, the rotor and balance bridge are 18k red gold, replacing the brass components used on steel watches.
