Omega 220.127.116.11.01.001 Overview
The Omega Seamaster 300m collection is one of the most respected and popular diver within the watch community. Reference 18.104.22.168.01.001 is a dive watch that over delivers on value and features. Often you’ll see the Omega Seamaster 300m 22.214.171.124.01.001 compared to the king of dive watches, the Rolex Submariner.
There are just so many things to enjoy about the 300m collection like it’s ceramic wave pattern dial, case design, durability, and the co-axial master chronometer movement. When researching and comparing the Omega Seamaster 300m Chronograph 126.96.36.199.01.001, the first thing you’ll notice is how much value it has.
When you add up all the features that we mentioned above and more, you’ll assume this dive watch costs more than it actually does. Outside of value, the Omega Seamaster 300m Chronograph 188.8.131.52.01.001 is just a solid watch. It can be considered a perfect option for daily wear.
The brushed finish of the case and bracelet and ceramic bezel hids wear and tear, the movement is extremely durable, and the design can be worn in many different occasions. If you only had a one watch collection, reference 184.108.40.206.01.001 would be a great choice.
Master Chronometer Co-Axial Movement
Possibly the most impressive feature of the Omega Seamaster 300m Chronograph 220.127.116.11.01.001 is the master chronometer co-axial Omega Calibre 9900. The co-axial escapement is ground break technology in the watch world.
On top of that the Omega Calibre 9900 for reference 18.104.22.168.01.001 is extremely durable due to it’s “Master Chronometer” status. Essentially the 9900 movement provides superior accuracy in the most rugged environments. To pass the master chronometer certification, a movement must pass accuracy tests in extreme temperature conditions and magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss.
Ceramic Dials & Bezels
There are many variations to the 300m collection. Reference 22.214.171.124.01.001 features either a black or blue ceramic bezel and dial combination. Ceramic bezels aren’t new and in today’s world mostly expected for a dive watch.
What’s not expected is a ceramic dial. Omega has executed this perfectly and has gone even further by adding a laser etched wave pattern. The combination makes the white, black, blue, or silver dial on the 126.96.36.199.01.001 one of the best.
Seamaster 300m Silicone Srap
A silicone strap is included with the Omega Seamaster 300m Chronograph 188.8.131.52.01.001. The silicone strap is considered to be very comfortable. There are multiple Omega manufactured bracelet options as well. The 4 choices are a silicone strap, metal bracelet, leather straps, and nato straps.
If the reference you purchased doesn’t come with the exact bracelet you desire, Omega can provide an additional one for an extra cost. Personally, our favorite is the metal bracelet because it has the class style to it and has a well built quick release extension.
